Analyst – Consulting Implementation (Cyber Security / SOC) Location: Bangalore Domain: Cyber Security / SOC Operations / Consulting Experience: 0–2 Years Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / Graduate / Postgraduate in relevant disciplines Role Overview: • Join a cybersecurity consulting and Security Operations Center (SOC) team • Work on threat monitoring, security analysis, and incident response activities • Support security operations through analysis, monitoring, and process improvement initiatives • Gain hands-on exposure to enterprise cybersecurity environments and security technologies Job Responsibilities: • Monitor and analyze security alerts generated through monitoring platforms • Investigate suspicious activities and support threat detection efforts • Assist in malware analysis and email security investigations • Participate in threat hunting and security monitoring activities • Support incident identification, triage, and escalation processes • Follow incident response procedures and operational playbooks • Review system, network, and application logs during investigations • Track operational findings and document process observations • Support quality assessments and identify process improvements • Participate in root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions • Assist teams during critical cybersecurity events and investigations Skills Required: • Basic understanding of Cyber Security concepts • Knowledge of SIEM platforms and monitoring principles • Understanding of networking fundamentals (HTTP, SMTP, network traffic) • Basic scripting knowledge in Python • Understanding of Windows Active Directory and operating systems • Analytical and troubleshooting skills • Knowledge of incident handling concepts Preferred Skills: • Exposure to security tools and cloud platforms • Knowledge of Microsoft security solutions • Understanding of AWS, Azure, or Windows infrastructure • Internship or project exposure in SOC or cybersecurity domains • Security certifications or relevant training are an advantage Key Qualities: • Strong analytical thinking • Attention to detail • Team collaboration mindset • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in rotational shifts • Quick learning and adaptability 📌 Experience Required: 0–2 Years 📌 Shift Requirement: Rotational shifts 📌 SOC experience and cybersecurity certifications are a plus
