Job Description • Finastra is looking for an Associate Software Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in C++ development. In this role, you will design, develop, test, debug, and maintain high-performance software applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable financial technology solutions. Roles and Responsibilities • Participate in software design discussions and analyze technical requirements. • Design and develop high-quality applications using C++. • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. • Test, debug, analyze, and resolve software issues. • Follow Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders during product development and releases. • Provide technical solutions for moderately complex software problems. • Maintain and enhance existing software applications. • Participate in code reviews and development activities. • Handle additional development tasks and assigned projects. Eligibility Criteria • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • 1–2 years of experience in software development using C++. • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), STL, and memory management. • Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms. • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems. • Understanding of software development methodologies and SDLC. • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills • Experience in the Payments or Financial Services domain. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Experience managing multiple development tasks simultaneously.
