Associate Software Engineer – Release Engineer Company: Veeva Systems Location: Hyderabad, India Department: QA & Release Engineering Job Summary: Veeva Systems is hiring Associate Software Engineers for the Release Engineering team. The role involves supporting software deployments, CI/CD activities, automation, and release management for cloud-based applications. Required Experience: • 1+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or Test Automation • Freshers with strong technical skills can also be considered Key Responsibilities: • Support release and deployment activities • Work with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, and JIRA • Assist engineering and operations teams • Execute sprint deployment processes • Monitor and communicate deployment status • Support automation and scripting tasks Required Skills: • Basic knowledge of Java and OOP concepts • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies • Knowledge of Linux and scripting basics • Familiarity with Git and version control systems • Basic understanding of Jenkins or GitLab CI • Awareness of Docker or AWS cloud platforms • Experience with Jira and Confluence is preferred Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of Selenium or Cucumber • Understanding of DevOps concepts • Exposure to healthcare or life sciences projects • Good communication and teamwork skills Why Join Veeva Systems: • Opportunity to work on enterprise cloud applications • Exposure to modern DevOps and CI/CD practices • Collaborative and fast-growing product-based company • Learning-focused engineering environment
