Job Description
• Calix is seeking Graduate Trainees to support cloud-native DevOps, CI/CD, and software delivery initiatives.
• The role provides hands-on exposure to build automation, release engineering, deployment pipelines, containerization technologies, and modern cloud-native software development practices.
• Selected candidates will work with experienced engineering teams and gain practical experience in DevOps tooling, automation, cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven software delivery optimization.
• This opportunity is ideal for graduates interested in DevOps Engineering, Cloud Platforms, Site Reliability Engineering, and Release Management.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Assist in configuring and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based microservices.
• Support branch management, code promotions, and software release workflows.
• Contribute to build automation and deployment processes using DevOps tools.
• Work with Jenkins, Bamboo, and related automation platforms.
• Gain hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Manage build artifacts using Artifactory and Nexus repositories.
• Create technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and internal knowledge resources.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement DevOps best practices.
• Use Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence for project tracking, source control, and collaboration.
• Participate in AI-powered DevOps initiatives such as predictive build failure analysis.
• Support automated pipeline optimization and operational efficiency improvements.
• Learn and contribute to cloud-native software delivery processes.
