Job Description • Emerson is hiring Graduate Engineer Trainees to support testing and validation of Ovation Distributed Control System (DCS) products and applications. In this role, you will perform product testing, report defects, maintain test environments, collaborate with product development teams, and contribute to ensuring product quality while gaining hands-on experience with industrial automation technologies. Roles and Responsibilities • Perform product testing for Ovation DCS and its applications. • Identify, document, and report software defects and bugs. • Enhance and maintain testing procedures for assigned projects. • Install, configure, and maintain testing environments. • Develop technical knowledge of DCS product components. • Coordinate with product development teams during testing activities. • Ensure product quality testing is completed within scheduled timelines. • Maintain testing documentation and test results. • Support continuous improvement of product quality processes. Eligibility Criteria • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Power Engineering, or a related discipline. • Basic understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or SCADA applications. • Knowledge of networking concepts and tools. • Basic understanding of virtualization technologies. • Familiarity with Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC). • Knowledge of C, C++, C#, Python, Batch, VB, or PowerShell scripting. • Understanding of Windows operating systems and computer architecture. • Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
