The role involves building scalable microservices, deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance digital solutions. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, GCP services, microservices architecture, and cloud-native application development. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications • Build and deploy cloud-native microservices on Google Cloud Platform • Develop RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud • Work with GCP services such as Cloud Run, GKE, App Engine, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions • Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Cloud Build, and GitHub Actions • Ensure application scalability, performance, and security • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams during the development lifecycle • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis • Participate in Agile development activities and technical discussions • Support deployment automation and monitoring activities Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field • Strong experience with Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot • Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and microservices architecture • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE) • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, and JWT authentication • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases • Familiarity with Git and version control systems • Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or Pub/Sub • Understanding of cloud security and performance optimization • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD automation • Experience working in Agile development environments • Knowledge of cloud monitoring and logging tools Work Environment • Opportunity to work on large-scale cloud transformation projects • Collaborative and technology-driven workplace culture • Exposure to modern cloud-native and AI-powered solutions • Continuous learning and professional development opportunities • Inclusive and diverse global work environment
