L&T Precision Engineering & Systems is hiring Software Engineers for the D&DC Land Systems division in Mumbai. Engineering graduates with B.E./B.Tech qualifications and 0–2 years of experience are eligible to apply. The role focuses on software development for complex defense and embedded systems using technologies such as C, C++, Linux, VxWorks, QNX and Qt. Candidates will work on multi-threaded and distributed system architectures, debugging, diagnostics, inter-process communication and system integration. Responsibilities also include developing scalable software solutions, supporting customer issue resolution and working with communication protocols like Ethernet, CAN, Serial, ModBus and related networking technologies. Candidates should possess strong programming, analytical and problem-solving skills along with knowledge of operating systems, networking concepts and embedded software development.
