Role Overview This apprenticeship role focuses on supporting data engineering activities within a cloud-based data platform. You will assist in building and maintaining data pipelines, working with large datasets, and contributing to data processing and transformation tasks. The role offers hands-on exposure to modern data technologies and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities - Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines for large-scale data platforms - Support data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes from multiple sources - Work with structured and semi-structured datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency - Help design and implement ETL workflows under guidance from senior engineers - Perform data validation and ensure data quality across systems - Analyze existing data processes and assist in documenting workflows - Collaborate with teams to onboard and integrate client data - Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and support resolution - Contribute to automation and monitoring of data workflows - Translate business requirements into technical data solutions Required Skills - Basic understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines, data warehousing) - Knowledge of SQL including querying, joins, and aggregations - Familiarity with Python for data-related tasks - Understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server - Awareness of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure - Interest in tools like Azure Data Factory or similar orchestration platforms - Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail - Problem-solving skills and ability to debug issues - Good communication and teamwork abilities Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills - Exposure to modern data warehouses such as Snowflake - Interest in cloud-based data engineering practices - Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools - Curiosity about using AI for automation and improving workflows - Willingness to learn new tools and technologies Learning & Growth Opportunities - Hands-on experience with cloud data engineering tools - Exposure to real-world data platforms and large datasets - Opportunity to work with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams - Learning modern AI-integrated data engineering practices Work Culture SymphonyAI promotes a collaborative and innovative environment where employees are encouraged to share ideas, learn continuously, and contribute to meaningful projects.
