Roles and Responsibilities Role 1 – Technical Illustrator • Create technical illustrations using established standards and guidelines. • Develop drawings for operating manuals, maintenance manuals, installation instructions, service bulletins, and quick reference guides. • Apply shading, gradients, and visual enhancements to improve illustration clarity. • Coordinate with authors and project teams to complete deliverables. • Gather inputs from multiple stakeholders to ensure accuracy. Role 2 – Parts Catalogue Author • Create and maintain parts catalogues according to customer standards. • Generate exploded views using engineering drawings and CAD models. • Develop illustrations following global cataloging standards. • Coordinate with internal teams and onsite coordinators to resolve technical queries. • Ensure accuracy and quality of parts catalogue deliverables. Role 3 – Technical Author • Develop and update technical documentation and product manuals. • Interpret engineering information and convert it into user-friendly documentation. • Coordinate with illustrators and engineering teams for content creation. • Gather, organize, and compile technical information. • Maintain documentation standards and quality requirements.
