Executive – Software Engineering Company: KPMG India Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India Job Type: Full-Time Job Overview: • Work on data engineering, analytics, and software solutions in the banking domain • Build and optimize data pipelines and analytical systems • Support stakeholders with technical and data-related solutions • Collaborate with product, data, and business teams for scalable data infrastructure • Contribute to automation, reporting, and process improvements Key Responsibilities: • Analyze large datasets to generate actionable business insights • Develop and maintain data pipelines using PySpark and related tools • Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation • Implement data models, schemas, normalization, and denormalization techniques • Ensure data quality through validation and cleansing processes • Collaborate with teams to centralize and manage data assets • Support CI/CD processes and automation workflows • Work on banking analytics including customer transactions and loan performance • Support fraud detection and credit risk analysis initiatives • Optimize databases and improve data accessibility and scalability • Stay updated with latest technologies and industry best practices Required Skills: • Strong knowledge of Python, Pandas, and NumPy • Proficiency in SQL and database management • Experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing • Basic understanding of Hadoop ecosystem • Knowledge of data engineering and ETL concepts • Understanding of data modeling and data quality principles • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Good communication and collaboration abilities Preferred Skills: • Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines • Knowledge of banking operations and financial systems • Understanding of retail or corporate banking analytics • Familiarity with statistical analysis and reporting tools • Experience in scalable data infrastructure and optimization Eligibility: • Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate • Experience in data analytics or software engineering preferred
