Software Engineer Company: Optum Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India Job Type: Full-Time • Assist in developing and deploying AI/ML and Generative AI solutions • Work with machine learning models, LLMs, and intelligent applications • Support prompt engineering, model evaluation, and fine-tuning activities • Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams • Participate in data preparation, cleaning, labeling, and feature engineering • Integrate AI models using APIs, SDKs, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or cloud AI services • Monitor model performance and improve outputs through testing and validation • Contribute to scalable and reliable AI system deployment • Follow responsible AI practices related to privacy, fairness, and security • Participate in Agile development and continuous learning initiatives Required Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and intelligent applications • Basic knowledge of Python, APIs, and software development • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and cloud technologies • Good analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, or cloud AI platforms • Understanding of Generative AI and LLM concepts • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices • Interest in scalable AI systems and data engineering Experience Required: • 0–2 years of experience • Fresh graduates can apply • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related field required The Job focuses more on: • AI/ML and Generative AI basics • Python and software development knowledge • Learning mindset and collaboration skills • Understanding of frameworks like TensorFlow/PyTorch (basic exposure is enough)
